It’s a awesome tool! I’ve carried the Rexford RUT for over a year now and use it almost everyday. I’m a professional firefighter, but everyone calls me Macgyver because I’m always making and fixing things. I carry a leatherman and the rut everyday and when I saw the TPT and all it can do, and your slogan Do more carry less, I was like this is a perfect tool to replace the RUT because it can do all that it can do, but more, so I can do more carry less and it be a great combination with my leatherman to give me even more options. I ordered it from Huckberry, because it is out of stock on here. But when I received it I noticed it was slightly bent, maybe a utility blade thickness at the release button, making it hard to release the blade. I emailed Big Idea Design and told them the problem, within 30 minutes Chadwick himself emailed me back and said I could send it to them and if they couldn’t fix it, they would replace it. I went the next day and sent it UPS from Staples on Friday to be delivered on The following Tuesday. Tracked it all weekend and it never showed it had been picked up. I went on Monday to find out why, the staff found it and said they didn’t know why it wasn’t picked up Friday with the other shipments. They refunded the shipping and I took the TPT with me. I ordered another TPT from Huckberry since they are out of stock from you all. I email Chadwick and told him all that had happened and that I ordered a second one because that’s how much I like your product, that I’m willing to buy another hoping it’s not bent when I get it, tying $130 in a tool I don’t even need, to use instead of one I’ve trusted for over a year now that cost me $150, that’s how much I think this tool is worth owning. And that I was just going to keep the bent one and try to fix it because it wasn’t worth the stress to depend on people to get it to him. Once again within 30 minutes he replied saying he was sorry for all the problems and even though I told him I ordered a second one, he told me he was sending me another one for free to brighten my day and ease the frustration!! Now that’s someone who cares about their customers! The next day I took the TPT apart and was able to bend it straight with little effort, making it good as new and easy to release the blade. Today, The following Thursday, I received both the second one I ordered and the one from Chadwick! He said I could give it away or whatever I wanted, but I may give the first or second one I bought away but the one from them I’m keeping! Now that’s a company I want to buy from! I am going to probably buy each item they sell and I am telling everyone I know! Not only is the TPT alone worth $70 but the sheath it comes with and the safety/fork blades are not only cool but very well made! It’s light and a pleasure to carry. Get you some 4 notch utility blades to use in it and put the ones it comes with in the blade holder on the sheath for when you need them and you can’t go wrong!
